TRAILER: Heath’s Last Film

A year-and-a-half after the tragic death of Heath Ledger, we have a trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. The movie’s director Terry Gilliam decided after Ledger death not to stop the movie, but instead, push on, making Ledger’s character a shapeshifter and replacing him with three different actors. Using Ledger’s last scenes, I think is a great tribute to him and Gilliam used Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law in his place. Here is the trailer.

Man, it is hard to believe that we will never see another Heath Ledger film. I saw Brokeback Mountain the other day and noticed something I didn’t the first time around- the subtlety of Heath’s performance, but it is just right. I appreciated it so much more this time around, crying about every 5 minutes, but still enjoying his performance. It was by-far his best performance… including his Joker role… (or maybe Patrick Verona in 10 Things…)
