UPDATE–LA TIMES AND CNN REPORTS MICHAEL JACKSON HAS DIED FROM A CARDIAC ARREST AT THE AGE OF 50. (5:40 pm CST)

The King of Pop Michael Jackson has passed away from cardiac arrest today in Los Angeles. The superstar has sold millions upon millions of records and was set to do a series of concerts in London in the next few months. With hit records like On the Wall, Thriller and Bad, he had become one of the most well-known, most celebrated artists of our time.

Starting with his four brother in Jackson Five, Jackson has been in the music industry for over 40 years. With dozens of hits such as “Thriller”, “Billy Jean”, “Bad”, “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough”, “Smooth Criminal” plus hits from his time with the Jackson Five like “ABC”, “I’ll Be There” and “I Want You Back”, he has carve his name into music history.

He is survived by his three children. He was just 50 years old.



Today is a sad in Hollywood. Farrah Fawcett died earlier today, losing her long battle with cancer. Her fiance, Ryan O’Neill, confirmed to People that he, her friend Alana Stewart, friend and hairdresser Mela Murphy and her doctor Lawrence Piro were by her side when she passed.

Fawcett rose to fame with the part of Jill Monroe on television hit Charlie’s Angels (1976-1980). She also starred in such films as Cannonball Run (1981), Man of the House (1995), The Apostle (1997) and Dr. T and the Women (2000). She also has guest starred on such shows as Ally McBeal, Spin City, and The Guardian. Her battle with cancer has been document with the press in recent years.

Last Rites were given to the actress and a Cathelic funeral is currently being planned by her family. She is survived by fiance O’Neill and son with him, Redmond, 24. She was 62.
